About Me

About Me

Wow! This one is difficult than writing my first blog. The Boring part of the introduction - I am a Chartered Accountant working with a consultancy firm. The whole idea of creating this blog was to share my thoughts on various things that we do or come across in our everyday lives but we kind of not realise nor do we think about those basic things. The idea is only to give a Food for Thought, not to give any opinions of any sorts.

This whole idea scares me because I am not by any stretch of imagination creative and so will try to keep simple as our lives are anyways over-complicated. Soon my posts will be up and hoping that you guys like them. Please make sure you provide your comments or thoughts.

My First Blog

Virtual Namaste to all. No Hi-Five or Handshakes thanks to Corona (Issued in Public Interest like almost every advertisement wanting to advertise their products are showcasing these days). Pleasantries exchanged and now lets get down to business.  As my first blog, I was struggling to think what I should write about. Then the idea shined onto me and I subconsciously started smiling to myself. My mom was, like ‘Chokra pagal hogaya hai’ and my maid gave me the look (yes guys maids have resumed and what a relief but now I think my mom pampers the maid more than me). Anyways, just to be honest with you guys, what you will read isn’t the idea which came to me, its something which I started writing when I decided to put my idea into words. This was me writing ‘My Thoughts’ as they came to me when I started writing and I realised, that is what people do when they are blogging; just expressing themselves by putting words to their thoughts. Just think about it guys, we all love...

Going out makes me sad

Hi Guys. Hope you are staying at home and taking care of yourselves and your loved ones. Some of you maybe surprised at the topic of my Blog. Some of you must even be thinking this lockdown has driven Azim crazy. Who wouldn’t want to go out to meet family and friends or just meet human beings other than the family members who you have seen for the last 3 months. Yes, I maybe crazy, but its true, Going out makes me sad. Don’t worry guys this isn’t about the Government or the lockdown rules or how they are being flouted, this is about how every time I step out of the house for some work and all I can see is how people are STRUGGLING and fighting to survive. Every few days when I step out all I see is, faces which once showed emotions whether happy or sad or angry are now covered behind masks; Elderly people standing in long queues to buy essentials; daily wage earners struggling; people who used to do odd jobs are jobless; people asking for job (these people are ready to take ANY W...

Goodbyes are the most difficult

Virtual Namaste Guys. Hope all is well. Its been long since I have written something (rough patch of life). But I am back now. Hopefully, we will be seeing more of each other now (sadly only virtually). All this time, I have been thinking about something to write about; have started writing but never completed them. But today something happened with me which I just felt like writing about. Hopefully, you guys can relate to what I am saying. So today, something that I was fearing since the last 3 weeks happened. Had to bid goodbye to my closest buddy at work. Gosh that was super difficult. Planned for weeks what to do, but what happened eventually was completely different and it was beautiful. You guys must be thinking that what is Azim saying; the person is not dying but has just left the organization . I agree and that was exactly what I was told by my buddy. But the fact is you get too attached and habituated to that one person being around every time, whether it for a cup of coffee ...
